Atomic™ Aquired By ECI2

ECI2 Europe, the UK-based subsidiary of the US trade software house, has announced the acquisition of the Office Products business of Integrity Software Systems Limited.

The deal, which was for an undisclosed sum, transfers the division as a complete undertaking, including rights to the software as well as the sales, support, and development staff who will all be transferred to ECI2.

The Atomic DMS team will also join ECI2.

This web site gives access to a database containing product and supplier information for Retailers, Dealers, Dealer Groups, Wholesalers and Manufacturers within the Office Products industry.

The Atomic database currently contains information on over 310,000 unique products, 400 suppliers and dealer catalogues, listing some 1,150,000 catalogue codes. The database is updated every week. Within the site you will find the following services:-

New Improved Product Search

This feature gives you fast access to product information and lists potential suppliers for that product. Information includes: Supplier codes and pack sizes. Product weights, measures and barcodes. Lists of alternative and linked products. Many items also have links through to the manufacturer's web page to offer the most comprehensive and up-to-date information available. We also maintain a list over 4,200 laser, inkjet and dot matrix printers listing the correct consumables for each. The Product Search is a free service - just register for a Guest account to gain access.

Data Download

The catalogue data held in Atomic is available to download in many different formats for import into 'back office' and 'e-commerce' systems. A number of the supplier files are also available together with your specific cost prices.

Data Maintenance

This area of the site gives easy access to data owners to maintain product information and customer specific cost price data. Also within this feature is the 'Atomic Catalogue Builder'. An easy to use system for building and maintaining your own catalogue product listing and product information.

Email Notification

You can now be notified by email when a catalogue or supplier cost price has been updated. You can decide which catalogues you would like to be informed about and how frequently you receive that notification. Everything can be controlled by you.
